Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to a webinar presenting the results of the first part of the IFCU survey entitled: Understanding Culture of Care in Catholic Universities regarding International Mobility, dedicated to the culture of care in Catholic universities in relation to international student mobility.
๐ Background to the survey
This study was initiated and conducted by the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), in cooperation with Aon and the Katholische Stiftungshochschule München (KSH). The IFCU brings together 240 Catholic universities and higher education institutions around the world and works to promote international academic cooperation, while placing the individual and the student at the heart of its priorities.
In this context, the survey is part of an approach aimed at strengthening a genuine culture of care, understood as the support, protection, and well-being of students throughout their studies, and more particularly those engaged in international mobility programs, in a context deeply marked by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
๐ฏ First part of the survey
This first part was carried out among European Catholic universities that are members of the FIUC and offers an analysis of practices and challenges related to international mobility.
The results focus in particular on:
- Student mobility flows (incoming and outgoing students) and inequalities in access to mobility
- Institutions' internationalization strategies
- Insurance and protection measures for mobile students
- Changes in mobility practices since the COVID-19 pandemic
- Students' expectations and concerns
- Concrete recommendations to strengthen student support and protection
๐ Audience
International relations managers, pastoral teams, mobility services, rectorate teams, teachers, and researchers.
We look forward to seeing many of you at this exchange event.
Best regards,
The IFCU Secretariat
